Booking Terms and Conditions
The Terms
and Conditions below apply to all bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing. When
you make a booking, your contract (which includes these terms and conditions)
will be with The Swan. All rates featured on www.swanatshepton.co.uk
are
subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse any booking.
You will
need to provide your debit or credit card details to reserve your booking with
a payment as follows:
For other than a stay within 7 days - a 75% deposit with the balance payable on arrival.
For a stay
within 7 days - full payment is required at the time of booking.
We accept payment by Mastercard, Visa etc but not American Express. Full payment is due on arrival at
the premises and can also be made by cash or cheque with a valid guarantee card.
You may check in is
between 3 pm until 11 pm unless agreed beforehand and confirmed in writing by us.
Failure to check in by 11 pm will be treated as a non-show or
cancellation. You need to leave by 11 am on the day of departure unless agreed
beforehand and confirmed in writing by us or a supplement may be charged.
We regret
that if a room booking is cancelled within 7 days prior to 3 pm on the day of
arrival, the full amount will be charged less the cost of any meals not taken.
However, if the room is subsequently re-let on behalf of the guest, then there
will be no charge.
All rates
quoted are per room per night, are subject to availability and include Value
Added Tax. Supplements will be applied
for single and family room occupancy in twin rooms.
Any
additional services, such as food or drink must be settled at the time of
ordering, unless by agreement when the cost may be settled on checking out.
Breakfast is
available from 7-30 am though it can be earlier by agreement. An evening meal
is available between Wednesday and Saturday. If a meal is required on Sunday,
Monday or Tuesday evening then we will need to be advised of this by noon that
day.
Special Requests
Every effort
will be made to carry out special requests but these cannot be guaranteed.
Car Parking
Parking is
available in the Pay and Display car park at the rear.
Dogs
Guide dogs
are welcomed at our premises and incur no charge. Other dogs may stay in your
room by prior arrangement with us for £10 though at our discretion we may waive
this charge. Any damage caused by the
dog may incur a housekeeping charge.
Damage or Losses
Costs of any
loss (including the loss of any keys) from and or damage to any item in the
premises will be payable by the occupant or person/company responsible for the
room payment
Behaviour
For the consideration of all of our guests we reserve the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of guests, who must take all steps for corrective action as requested by us. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, we may terminate the booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.
