Real Ale

We have a wide selection of real ales, lagers and ciders and take pride in keeping our beers in excellent condition so that our customers can enjoy a first class pint. Our cask ales are generally sourced locally and Ian the landlord has a passion for real ale being a drinker of it himself. By volume ale is now our biggest selling product and local ale Bob Wall 4.2% from Dawkins Ales remains on the bar by choice.

We were included in the 2009 CAMRA Good Beer Guide and are delighted to see that we are included in the 2010 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Our regular session ale is Bob Wall 4.2% from Matthews Brewery; it is brewed at Timsbury, near Radstock and continues to outsell other draught products on the bar including session lagers. Bob Wall has helped turn us from a lager/cider pub to a real ale pub.
